Finding my way through the Space

An interesting fact

Apocalyptic Goo
Eric Drexler, the man who introduced the word nanotechnology, presented a frightening apocalyptic vision -- self-replicating nanorobots malfunctioning, duplicating themselves a trillion times over, rapidly consuming the entire world as they pull carbon from the environment to build more of themselves. It's called the "grey goo" scenario, where a synthetic nano-size device replaces all organic material. Another scenario involves nanodevices made of organic material wiping out the Earth -- the "green goo" scenario.

Flaming is a hostile and insulting interaction between Internet users. Flaming usually occurs in the social context of a discussion board, Internet Relay Chat (IRC) or even through e-mail. An Internet user typically generates a flame response to other posts or users posting on a site, and such a response is usually not constructive, does not clarify a discussion, and does not persuade others. Sometimes, flamers attempt to assert their authority, or establish a position of superiority over other users. Other times, a flamer is simply an individual who believes he or she carries the only valid opinion. This leads him or her to personally attack those who disagree. In some cases, flamers wish to upset and offend other members of the forum, in which case they can be called "trolls". Most often however, flames are angry or insulting messages transmitted by people who have strong feelings about a subject.

Some equate flaming with simply letting off steam, though the receiving party may be less than pleased. Similarly, a normal, non-flame message may have elements of a flame—it may be hostile, for example—but it is not a flame if its author seriously intends to advance the discussion. The word "flaming" is also sometimes used for long, intensive and heated discussions, even though insults do not occur.

Although the trading of insults is as old as human speech, flaming on the Internet, like many other online 'actions,' started in the Usenet hierarchies (although it was known to occur in the WWIVnet and FidoNet computer networks as well). Recently, several online forums have actively encouraged flaming amongst fellow posters.[1]

I'll put the title when I'm done writing.

So skool has started, life is going again. My schedule this semester is not as hectic as it was last semester, this semester I only have 2 days that starts before 12pm, so yeah, its a nice schedule.
I'm sick and no, I don't think I caught the H1N1 virus cause right now in the process of getting better and soon be able to run around and bug ppl again, woho!!!!!!

My papers for this semester is Quantum and Statistical Physic, Physic of waves and vibration and Nanoscience. Finally, after 1 and a half years, I finally get to do a Nano paper and in the first class already, I got bored, my other physic paper are more interesting. Well that's because the lecturer is trying to get us know know more about the nano world, the latetst technology etc etc, not so much on concept, its like reading a newspaper about the latest stuff but with no details. So, pretty much go class and take notes, well I'm definately still pretty hype up about the paper and what to expect for the next 2 years after the introduction to nano science.

And also, for the last few weeks, all my classes are about the electrons, photons and the double-slit experiment. Can you imagine, the whole 2 weeks bout that stuff. Its very interesting though and also ground breaking for me cause it really bring me to a new level on how things can work. So anyway, what we have been talking about is photons, remember back in primary school, teacher will conduct an experiment on light where you put a cardbox with a small hole in the middle in front of a candle and the result is a small dot on the back screen, it means that light can only move in a straight line which is true. But now when we use two slits, the result is a interference pattern of light instead of 2 lines of particle. No one has an answer for it but it helps to create new theory of physic. This theory is based on light being able to show two properties which its called the particle-wave duality. Hmmmm.... feel like studying now :)

Winter in NZ hasn't been too bad compare to last year, last year it was raining almost everyday, continuously for a few days!!!! And also its not as cold I think... can get other ppl opinion and compare.

Nowadays I'm really bored, since I become sick, haven't been to the gym and also haven't play any sports. Expecting a full recovery and with a good timetable, gonna go all out and get a stronger body.

Ok, now got to get back to work.
